Sean Yu founded the Taiwan Center Basketball Team in 2004, and within a few years, it has become a leading Asian American basketball team power in Southern California. Now co-managed by Sean, along with Richard Tang and Paul Chen, the team has performed notably well in various leagues and tournaments

November 2011 - Won 1st place in the South Bay F.O.R. Classic: 16th Annual Basketball Tournament AA Division

October 2011 - Won 1st place in the Mofufus Tournament AA Division

June 2011 - Won 1st place in the Nisei Week Hoops Tournament AA Division

November 2010 - Won 1st place in the South Bay F.O.R. Classic: 15th Annual Basketball Tournament AA Division

          Taiwan Center played against Alpine Striders for 1st place.

November 2010 - Won 1st place in the Chinese American League, Highest Division

June 2010 - Won 1st place in the Nisei Week Hoops Tournament AA Division

May 2010 - Won 1st place in the Tigers 35th Anniversary Invitational Basketball Tournament AA Division

          Taiwan Center played in the double AA division, the highest division in this tournament. Many competitive teams played in this tournment, however, Taiwan Center won 1st place, Bluecanvas won 2nd place, and Hawaii Chosen won 3rd place.  

March 2010 - Finished 3rd place in the regular season of the Superstar League

          Taiwan Center played in the top division, Diamond

Decemeber 2009 - Won 1st place in the Imperials Sports Associations 37th Annual Basketball Classic Tournament AA Division

November 2009 – Won the Chinese American League         

November 2009 – Won 1st place in the South Bay F.O.R Classic : 14th Annual Basketball Tournament AA Division

October 2009 – Won 1st place in the Taiwan Center Tournament AA Division

September 2009 – Won 2nd place in the American National Championship AA Division 

August 2009 – Won 1st place in the Pasadena Fast Action League

            Won first place in a field of more than 80 teams     

August 2009 – Won 1st place in the Pac Rim

June 2009 – Won 1st place in the Nisei Week Hoops Tournament AA Division
